WHY OUR MARKETING RESEARCH, RATES Ohio as #4
Ohio we call "the profit potential state".
Rarely are smart recruiters disappointed with the results
from Ohio insurance agents. Our feedback from
agent recruiting firms, using our lists is overwhelmingly favorable
for over 20 years straight!. Along with our excellent
Ohio insurance agent database is a geographic trend that is uncommon in most
states. This dynamic combination can overwhelm virtually any odds or
competitors that get in the way. Lets reveal the geographic secret.
Almost all states (California, Michigan, Indiana,
Illinois, etc.) have only one metropolitan area that can encompass 40 to 60%
of the total insurance agents. Fewer states (like Pennsylvania) have 2 large
metropolitan areas, while even fewer have three. Ohio has 4 distinct agent population districts instead of
just one or two. This geographic
factor makes it hard for a particular insurer, or marketing
firm to monopolize the entire state. The
four metropolitan areas containing Ohio insurance agents
are Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton.
Where do you set up your recruiting operation? Wherever it
is, is also the likely location of most of your recruiting effort. Statewide
recruiters and managing general agents rarely break the mold, overwhelmingly
staying inside their metropolitan comfort zone.
Consider that many
state managers, managing general agents, and small brokerage firms, only
focus on the nearest portion of Ohio insurance agents. This
leaves out considerable competition for you. Although regional brokerage
firms, insurance marketing organizations, and insurance companies target
Ohio, they would need to double their efforts to ruin the prime Ohio
insurance agent base.
Small and large factories in Ohio are prevalent, yet unions providing employee benefit plans are
less common. But unlike Michigan, the custom is to
pay part or none of the medical expenses. This makes Ohio a
strong state for agents selling group and worksite benefit plans. The Ohio agents that are with
a major career life insurance company, are much less loyal.
This means to you, the recruiter, that agents are receptive to broker business to recruiting firms
properly baiting their hooks. It also means a huge need for
attractive brokerage products, expanding well beyond life
insurance. In Ohio we can even increase your
edge. by precision tuning our list to your particular
recruiting needs.
